The Water Education Centre (WEZ), located in the Kalborn mill in northern Luxembourg along the Our river, is an environmental centre specialising in aquatic education. Open to school pupils, universities, and private groups (birthdays, clubs, etc.), the WEZ is situated in the heart of the Our Valley Natura 2000 area. This proximity to nature provides an ideal setting for field trips in ecology, limnology, botany, geology, and much more.
Open to schools since 2016, the WEZ expanded its programme in 2017 to also welcome university groups, allowing them to rent rooms and explore the surroundings of the mill. The centre is currently funded by the LEADER programme.
