Hedges

National Tree Day

Let's plant hedgerows as protective habitats and sources of food for animals.

Hedgerows are protective habitats and a source of food for animals, which can rest, sleep or nest in them. They are essential ecological corridors for the dispersal and exchange of flora and fauna. What's more, they regulate the wind, soften the climate, reduce water runoff and help water penetrate the soil.
