Solitary tree

National Tree Day

Let's plant solitary trees that are true oases of biodiversity.

In open landscapes, solitary trees are essential elements of the ecological network, necessary for the exchange and dispersal of many species. They are a source of food and a habitat for many insects and vertebrates that come to recharge their batteries or nest. Oaks, beeches, lindens, maples and chestnuts form magnificent specimens that add to the beauty of the landscape.
